Well isn’t this ironic? I barely passed English class in high school yet here I am launching my very own blog. I’ve never been much of a reader either, unless you count audio books? I guess you can say I am like most millennials today. Easily distracted, short attention span, and completely submerged online 37 hours of the day.
In all seriousness though, what a great time to be alive!!! We now live in a world where we can communicate with friends, loved ones and even strangers from around the globe. We roam the streets with mini computers in our pockets and unlimited amounts of information at our finger tips. Breaking news is now delivered to us in seconds by a virtual bird!? Selfies can now earn you a living and Donald Trump is President. So quite literally, ANYTHING is possible.
With endless possibilities comes huge responsibilities. I am grateful to be part of a generation that with hard work and determination, allows you to truly build a life you’ve always dreamed of. My vision for the future is bright and my intent for this blog is genuine and sincere.
With me, what you see is what you get! There is no façade. I am not the end all be all nor do I want to be! I don’t know absolutely everything there is to know about fitness, but I know A LOT! I am constantly learning and adapting. My struggles are as real as are yours. We are in this together, ya feel me!?
This blog will be where I share my latest tips, ideas, and stories all related to fitness, nutrition and just life in general. It’ll be informative, inspiring, uplifting, and hilarious. This I can promise.
What you wont see here is negativity. It takes far less energy to be a Negative Nancy and lets face it, that is why we live in an often very dark world. *Eye-Roll* Enough of that crap.
UNDERSTAND THIS: Its our thoughts and our energy, that transmit to create our reality. I know this first hand. Once I decided to let go of my crippling fear of failure, and my incessive need to compare myself to others, and just live life for me, on my terms, and show some goddamn appreciation for the many blessings in my “not so perfect life”, things changed dramatically. More specifically, my outlook changed dramatically.
So buckle up kids! Move with me and let’s embrace this ride called life.
